Under-17s: Glory for Germany as Trinks sinks Dutch (video)

They’ve been the tournament’s best team, and although it took until just a few minutes were remaining in extra time, hosts Germany won their first ever European Under-17 Championship courtesy of a quite stunning free kick from Florian Trinks to beat a heartbroken Dutch team, who pushed their opponents all the way.

It’s an early start on Monday morning if you want to catch the Final of the European Under-17 Championships. At 11am CET, Germany and Holland will take to the field in Magdeburg to fight for one of the most prestigious crowns in youth football.
