It’s an early start on Monday morning if you want to catch the Final of the European Under-17 Championships. At 11am CET, Germany and Holland will take to the field in Magdeburg to fight for one of the most prestigious crowns in youth football.
Germany have to be undoubted favourites. They’re the only team with a 100% record so far, scoring 11 goals and conceding just 1 in the tournament to date. They’ve spread the scoring around, have played the best football, and beat their opponents on Matchday 3 in Group B by a scoreline of 2-0. That isn’t to say the Dutch aren’t a threat, with a strong resolve against Switzerland enough to see them through 2-1 in their Semi Final on Friday after a fine first half.
