Manchester City are certainly loving their first foray into the Dallas Cup. Three games, three wins, a Semi Final berth, and starring roles for three of their entries into the current prospect list. Thursday say Robbie Mak and Alex Nimely continue their fine form with two goals apiece against Toronto FC. Elsewhere a number of other prospects have been in action too, and we cover them here.
With Federico Macheda on a different planet to the other prospects this week, attentions elsewhere focus primarily on Arsenal’s Henri Lansbury, who lined up for Scunthorpe United at Wembley on Sunday to take on Luton in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy Final. That’s where we begin the weekend round-up.
